Dance Recital

Ruby decided she wanted to try dance instead of gymnastics and has practiced hard for her recital. Before the recital started, the announcer said that if any of the dancers got stage fright, someone would stay with them backstage and so we didn't need to feel worried if we didn't see our child onstage. When Ruby's class came onstage, I did not see her anywhere. I waited, wondering if maybe not all of them came in at the same time, but a few minutes later I still didn't see her. Lulu was sitting next to me, repeatedly whispering, where is she, where is she? Finally, I saw her. The dance was almost over, so I tried to get the camera to zoom in and focus but just ended up holding the camera and pressing the button over and over, and the pictures didn't turn out so great. You can see her though, if you look closely!

Once we realized which one she was, it was really exciting to see her perform!
